Simon and Robin Walker 1967All hands on deck in Loopline Film as we put the finishing touches to Sé Merry Doyle’s  feature documentary ‘Talking to My Father’. The subject is the great Irish Architect Robin Walker who was one of the pioneers of Modernism, beginning in the late fifties and bowing out from a glittering career in the late seventies. His son Simon, also an architect takes us on a journey through Robin’s life and celebrates his buildings and his writings. The actor Patrick Bergin reads some extracts from Robin’s writing and our great poet Seamus Heaney reads ‘An Architect’ the poem he wrote in memory of his friend Robin.  An original score is composed by Stano and Cinematographer Patrick Jordan‘s wonderful eye adds to this sumptuous palette of creativity.  Andrea Pitt and Sasha King Produce and Philippe Faujas looks after tyne Soundscape. wesley collegeThe Jameson Dublin International Film Festival will host the World Premier at the Irish Film Institute on the 24th March 2015.
