Since joining Loopline Genevieve has worked along side Sé Merry Doyle and Nicky Dunne as assistant editor on feature documentaries ‘Jimmy Murakami – Non Alien’ and ‘Dreaming The Quiet Man’ as well as one hour docs ‘Kathleen Lynn – Rebel Doctor’ for TG4 and ‘The Dying of Patrick Ireland’ for The Irish Film Board. She also edited a short documentary produced by the award winning Venom Films.
Genevieve is currently in post as editor with the hour long documentary about the writer Hugo Hamilton for TG4’s Anamnocht series as well as the fifth series of Muintir na Mara, her third as editor, which will be broadcast on TG4 in early 2011. She just recently edited the 30 minute documentary “Ó Bhéál go Béal Um Nollag” which was broadcast on RTÉ Christmas Day 2010.
Genevieve holds a BA in English and History from University College Cork and also a City and Guilds diploma in Media techniques for film and television from Griffith College Dublin.
Genevieve works primarily in Final Cut Pro but also enjoys working in Lightworks with Sé from time to time.
